Professor Ndao is awarded an NCESR Cycle 8 grant (as a Co-Investigator) from the Nebraska Center For Energy Sciences Research on "Numerical Modeling of the Formation of Micro/Nanostructures on Metals using Femtosecond Laser Surface Processing"
Dr. Ndao to serve as a member of the Regional Scientific Committee of USA, Mexico and Central America and an Associate Editor of the Proceedings for the 15th International Heat Transfer Conference to be held 10-15 August, 2014 in Kyoto, Japan.
Dr. Ndao's paper on the "Effects of pin fin shape and configuration on the single-phase heat transfer characteristics of jet impingement on micro pin fins" has been accepted for publication in IJHMT.
Dr. Ndao has been invited to be a Member of Scientific Committee for the International Conference on Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow (HTFF), Prague, Czech Republic, August, 2014.
